How to Spend Spring Break on 30A

It's that time of year again, and your favorite spring break vacation destination is ready for you! The 30A area has everything you need for a fun, relaxing, and eventful week away. The list is long for things to do in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and we're excited you're here!

Stay a While!

Need a last-minute rental? One of the biggest selections of rentals along the Emerald Coast is available through a local company, 30A Escapes, and they are great to book with. All their rental properties include bikes so you can explore the beautiful towns and beachside trails of South Walton. Find the perfect size house in the perfect location with the help of locals who know and appreciate the area.

Cork and Barrel Rosemary Beach

Not just a bottle shop, Cork and Barrel has been reimagining the idea of what a liquor store looks like since its conception in June 2021. Not only can you make purchases to take home with you, but you can stop in for a tasting of local beer, wine, and spirits. They're knowledgeable about local products, and you can ask them anything about distilleries in Florida.

Grayton Beach State Park

There is no shortage of things to do on 30A, and the variety of different parks and beaches boasts a stunning number of activities you can participate in. Perhaps one of the most diverse and globally recognized of these parks is Grayton Beach State Park. Walk along the hiking trails to catch a glimpse of the wildlife, go fishing in the coastal dune lakes, paddleboard and kayak your way into turquoise blue ocean water, or soak up the sun on the white sand beaches. You can even stay late for an oceanside campfire. There's no limit to the fun you can have here, and it's just one of many state parks in our area.

Mimmo's Ristorante

For years, Mimmo's Ristorante has been a staple for people of Destin seeking delicious and innovative Italian food. It has won numerous awards, including 'Best of Emerald Coast' twice. Their second location opened recently in Blue Mountain Beach on 30A and is already becoming a fan favorite for locals and tourists alike. At Mimmo’s 30A, their extensive menu includes items you won't want to miss, like a Gnocchi Lobster Carbonara and a Paloma in Palermo cocktail, which features the Grayton Beach Blanco Agave Spirit from 30A Distilling Co.

30A Distilling Co

Of course, your vacation to experience 30A would not be complete without a visit to the tasting room of 30A Distilling Co. Stop in for carefully curated cocktails, thoughtful décor that reflects life in Santa Rosa Beach, and plenty of souvenirs with the 30A logo to take home with you. Owner and distiller, Brian Rabon, makes sure every spirit directly honors a neighborhood of South Walton, like the Blue Mountain Beach Bourbon or the Seacrest Community Rum. A most recent fan favorite has been the Inlet Beach Peach Vodka, made with Louisiana Cane Sugar and peaches from Chilton County, Alabama,  and distilled in Florida. This is one Florida distillery you won’t want to miss on your visit.
